Avery started out the year wanting to place in both, the East & West side of MI, doing mountain biking. She has been participating in almost a race per weekend, and is sitting in 2nd or 3rd place in the series on the West side of the state and is comfortably in 1st in the series on the East side of the state! She also wants to qualify for the Iceman again this year, and finish it. This would make her the youngest rider to complete the Iceman! Meilee has done two races this year and managed to join Avery on the podium, with a 3rd place finish... Kim and I have been doing the school thing all summer long. My job has gone to shit, making me a little worried for our future, but hey, everything happens for a reason. (Even if we can't figure out what that reason is?) Meilee has become quite the little fish in the pool and I think we are going to try and get the girls into swimming this winter, along with Karate for Meilee ;-)
