Well, the 1st mountain bike, (MTB) race of 2012 is in the history books. Meilee did her 1st ever MTB race. It was two miles and had a log jam she had to ride up and over, then there were lots of big roots and even sandy sections and down hills to ride down. Meilee was very nervous while she was waiting at the starting line, but did very well throughout her ride and is excited to do more trail riding this summer. Avery was the youngest racer last year and was the youngest again. She used her 20" bike last year and used her 24" bike this year. She shaved off close to 30minutes in this years race , from her time last year.
She is gonna be faster then me if this keeps up ;-)
