I have been skiing many times over the years and have been to some cool places. NEVER have I had to teach and manage three people, (two of thorn being under 8y/o). The girls picked it up pretty fast then the rain came and made skiing bad for almost an entire day of the three we had... Kims brother and nephew came up and skied with us on our last day. We woke up to about 4" of fresh snow that day as well. We signed the girls up to take some lessons on snow boards. Their instructor was a young man who was very patient and had a great sense of humor. He was able to make the girls laugh and pay close attention to his direction. We latter went in to the proshop and bought a harness to attach to the girls so we could go up the big hills.
Meilee was incredible at maintaining and managing her speed on the way down. Avery wanted to go straight down and as fast as she could for the final skid at the bottom!
After my 6th trip down, (rotating the girls out every ogre trip up and down he hill) my legs were wasted!!!
What a great weekend with the family... I can't wait for next year already! Kim was so impressed and overwhelmed, she began to cry at how good she felt watching the girls and just with the four of us being there...
